Graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a degree in Fashion Design, Henry later founded a design company and launched his personal brand "SPYHENRYLAU," specializing in casual street style with sophistication. 

His creative concepts and inspirations are drawn from the nuances of daily life and he enjoys injecting theatrical and experimental elements into his collections through the use of special themes and stories, blending stage glamour into casual wear. He published his fashion journal, "Henry Fashion Dairy", and has received numerous awards, including the Hong Kong Top Ten Designers Award, the 40 UNDER 40 Award, and the B&W Great Advancement Award. He has collaborated with numerous internationally renowned brands and has designed outfits for Hong Kong’s A-listed artists, serving as an image and art director for their concerts. 

His designs are both avant-garde and creative, surprising audiences with their use of color and material selection. His collections are held in very high regard by the local fashion scene and also attract the attention of international buyers. His flagship store in Central, Hong Kong, themed around the fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics with unique interior design, has become a must-visit destination for tourists and fashion enthusiasts.
